Disabled Members

If you would like to join our club either as a disabled member or as an able-bodied helper, it is a good idea to arrange to visit the club to see what is on offer and what the facilties are like.

If you have decided to join the club, print off the membership application forms and send them to the Langstone Sailing Club (the address is on the Contacts page).

There is an application form for disabled members and a medical form which is kept in a sealed envelope, locked in a container and is for use by the paramedics / doctor if the situation arises where medical assistance is required while the member is at the sailing club.

The 2023 annual subscription is £70

FOBS

If you would like a FOB which raises either of the barriers to the extended parking areas and the club-house, please add £7.50 (which is a returnable deposit) to your membership fee.
When you leave, the barrier will rise when your vehicle gets close to it.

Photo Consent Form

Prospective Members and Helpers, please complete the Photo Consent form to enable us to use photos & videos in our publicity material. This is important as it helps us to get the club more widely known.

Able-bodied Helper Members

Helpers may either be experienced dinghy sailors or people who have no sailing experience, but who assist our disabled members as required.
We expect our helpers to take part in at least two sailing sessions during the season.

Potential able-bodied helpers should apply using the able-bodied members application form.

The 2023 annual subscription for helpers is £45

In order to protect our disabled members, we require all our helpers to submit to a Criminal Records Bureau check.

Don't worry about the layout of the forms on the screen; they will print correctly on an A4 sized sheet of paper.
